Discovery AcademyWhy should the Discovery Academy be of interest to school districts? The reasons are simple. For years educators have known that interdisciplinary, thematic approaches to teaching and learning are both beneficial and enjoyable for teachers and students. The Discovery Academy’s approach to teaching and learning is just that: thematic and interdisciplinary.

Rain Forest CreekThe current investigation topic is titled R.A.I.N. – Resourceful Rainforests, Ageless Beauties, In Danger, Needing Our Help.  The flexible structure of the program’s modules allows for a 3-week summer delivery or delivery as an after-school program.   The content can also be used as an in-school program or for extra skill and concept reinforcement.

Points to know about Discovery Academy – R.A.I.N.:

The complete Discovery Academy package includes a teacher training module and most required supplies.
