Mission to Mars

(Target grades: 2nd and 3rd)

Written around a basic theme of preparing for a mission to Mars, the purpose of this curriculum is to engage and promote each student's understanding of particular math and science concepts. Activities include basic geometry, measurement, physics and chemistry concepts.

Math and Science: A Totally Cool Combo

(Target grades: 4th and 5th)

This course is designed to foster opportunities for exploration and non-threatening learning in a fun summer camp setting. The lessons provide a combination of mathematics and physical science to emphasize the concept that math and science are interrelated.

(Target grades: 6th - 8th)

The purpose of this course is to stimulate enthusiasm for and deepen understandings in math and science through experimentation, exploration and problem solving in a fun and cooperative learning environment.

The Math and Science Connection

(Target grades: 6th - 8th)

The purpose of this course is to present opportunities for exploration of the connections between science and mathematics and the fun of problem solving. To facilitate cooperative exploration and creativity, most activities connected to this program encourage work in groups or pairs.
