STARLAB To Go Programs

The National Science Center's STARLAB To Go program is a 45-minute presentation in the portable planetarium called STARLAB. The dome is set up in a large, quiet area of your school or facility and each presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes. The Current Sky is the feature program with several other subject areas covered. Topic areas include "Latitude and Longitude" or "What's your location?" "What's Up Tonight?" and "What's Coming Soon?" Intertwined in the presentation are stories based on Greek Mythology and Native American and African Legends. Trained explainers arrive about 1 hour prior to the show and set up the dome for presentations throughout the day. Up to six 45-minute shows can be scheduled. The STARLAB comfortably seats 25 students per program.
